Welcome to our Meet the Team series where each month we will be introducing a member of the PQShield team and sharing a little about what they do for us here at PQShield. For our first issue, meet John Waymont.

John brings a wealth of experience to the PQShield team, having worked on drivers for graphics processor IP and more recently as a Project Manager and Solutions Architect in the chip design industry. He joined PQShield in July, 2022.

No two days are the same in his role as Lead Technical Project Manager. John’s often checking for new issues raised by customers and making sure defects are resolved, as well as meeting with engineering leads and project teams to deliver projects on time and against our roadmaps. On other days, you’ll find him reviewing quality processes, managing grant funding applications, helping to scale the engineering team, and much more besides!

Outside of work, John enjoys watching films and playing videogames with his wife, spending time with his two young daughters in the local park, as well as reading non-fiction and sci-fi.
