PQCryptoLib-Core on NIST IUT List: A Key Step Towards CMVP Certification

We are excited to announce that PQShield’s PQCryptoLib-Core has been included in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Implementation Under Test (IUT) List. This is a significant stride in the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) certification journey for our comprehensive crypto library, which supports a wide set of both traditional and Post-Quantum algorithms.

The IUT list serves as a public acknowledgment for vendors whose cryptographic modules are undergoing testing with an accredited laboratory, and it signifies that PQCryptoLib-Core and its essential documentation are now progressing through the validation process required for FIPS 140-3 certification.

This milestone highlights PQShield’s commitment to delivering reliable and secure solutions that meet international standards for cryptographic assurance. As PQCryptoLib-Core is set to advance from the IUT list to the Modules in Process (MIP) list after successful test report submission, we eagerly look forward to finalizing our CMVP validation.

Building on a Legacy of Trust

This latest CMVP certification effort for PQCryptoLib-Core builds upon our established dedication to cryptographic excellence. It follows our previous interim validation under certificate number #4800, expanding its scope with the integration of ML-KEM and ML-DSA algorithms.
