Daniel has over 19 years engineering experience in the IP business, he joined PQShield as Director of Hardware Engineering in August 2025.
His goal is to bring his expertise in delivering quality IP that targets both FPGA and ASIC to PQShield and help to hone the already great development methodologies in place. He joins us from Accelercomm, an IP company in the 3GPP NTN market where he led the hardware team creating Layer1 accelerator solutions. Before that, he spent a huge part of his career – nearly 17 years – at Imagination Technologies, where he started as a Graduate Design Engineer in 2006 and worked his way up to Director of Hardware Engineering. As Director, he was the head of the Development Platforms division, managing an international team responsible for creating and deploying all FPGA, Emulation, and Virtual platforms.
In what spare time his 2 children afford him, he is a fan of FFF Printers especially the RepRap movement, using them to fix things around the home, creating add-ons for toys or parts for his Ford Sierra based CatreumSuper7 inspired kit car. Of his time so far at PQShield Daniel says “PQShields hybrid/remote work environment not only allows its employees a fantastic work/life balance but allows us to employ the best in-field in all areas of the business. A fact that shines through with every interaction across the company.”
