Sam has been working for PQShield for coming up to 3 years and in his own words, his role is essentially to – “Make all the computers work whilst ensuring we let the good guys in and keep the bad guys out. Also ensure we can always recover from disaster as well as power assist the development work as needed”.
Sam is a “lifelong nerd” from living large on his Apple //e computer and building model railways, as well overclocking his Apple Centris 610 with the Quadra 610 motherboard upgrade, which was incidentally the first computer he also dual-booted with Linux!
Sam is a classicist with a broad Great Books based dialectic education and has lived in various locations across the UK, as well as in Alaska and Qatar (in the Persian Gulf).
When not keeping us safe here at PQShield, Sam enjoys’ vehicle maintenance and performance tuning (especially American V8s), photography using analogue film, bass guitar and theology.
