In November 2023, Aein made the jump from academia to PQShield as a Cryptography Hardware Architect—right after wrapping up his PhD in hardware security. These days, he’s busy designing cutting-edge hardware IPs to make the digital world a little safer. His time in academia trained him in the fine art of problem-solving—and probably juggling a few too many research papers at once! Now, he brings that experience and fresh perspective to PQShield’s innovation projects as well, helping craft top-tier, unique hardware IPs that are as innovative as they are secure.
When he’s off the clock, you’ll probably find him breaking a sweat playing tennis or hiking through scenic trails. And if the weather’s not cooperating, he’ll be happily engaged in a chess match or immersed in a good book. What does Aein think about life at PQShield? “I really appreciate PQShield’s open-minded culture. It encourages collaboration and creativity, and the hybrid working model lets me do what I enjoy both in and out of the office. It’s the perfect formula: work hard, play harder, and keep innovating!“
