Alexandre joined PQShield in April 2024 as a senior cryptography researcher. Previously, he was a permanent researcher at Inria, a public research institution. At university, he trained in pure mathematics and discovered cryptography during his PhD. Nowadays he dives into the foundations of lattice-based cryptography, in search for interesting algorithms and techniques to apply to practical cryptosystems.
During his free time, he enjoys playing video games, and listening to music. When he can, he goes to concerts or festivals, and particularly enjoys Metal music. When life allows it, Alexandre also likes to lift weights at the gym.
